Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Project Manager with strong banking industry experience to lead digital transformation and governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving large-scale banking projects, managing IT governance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading cross-functional teams to optimize digital banking operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage end-to-end digital transformation, IT governance, and compliance projects in the banking sector.
• Develop and implement project portfolios aligning with banking regulations and business strategy.
• Oversee digital banking initiatives, mobile apps, and automation projects.
• Ensure alignment of banking IT policies with SAMA (Saudi Central Bank) regulations.
• Manage IT budgeting (CapEx, OpEx), contracts, vendor negotiations, and license agreements.
• Ensure seamless process automation, and risk mitigation.
• Oversee stakeholder engagement, working closely with senior leadership, regulatory bodies, and third-party vendors.
• Optimize operations using agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Manage audit processes, IT risk assessments, and resolution of compliance issues.
Requirements
Key Skills & Competencies:
✔ Banking IT Project Management – Experience in core banking systems, mobile banking, digital governance.
✔ Digital Transformation & IT Governance – Strong background in COBIT, ITIL, CMMI, ISO frameworks.
✔ Process Optimization & Automation – Expertise in business process automation and system integration.
✔ Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management – Familiarity with SAMA, Basel II/III, and global banking regulations.
✔ Vendor & Contract Management – Strong experience in handling banking software vendors and contract negotiations.
✔ Leadership & Team Management – Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
✔ Stakeholder Engagement & Communication – Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and regulators.
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications:
✔ Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
✔ PMP, ITIL, COBIT, CISA, Six Sigma, or Agile certifications (Preferred).
✔ 10+ years of experience in IT project management within the banking sector. Fluency in Arabic & English (Preferred)
