Senior Project Manager

Position Summary:
·       Operation Management: This role provides leadership and management of all onsite crowd project delivery in partnership with Project Management Teams. Accountable for overall onsite crowd performance, positive stakeholder management (Project Management Teams, HR, Recruitment, IT, Finance, Payroll, Facilities, etc.)
·       Project Management: This role is responsible in the successful completion of full project life cycles from initiation to closure. This role will also require consistent liaison and collaboration with multiple project stakeholders to meet all delivery target and requirement.
·       This role better with BPO management experience size larger than 500+. Need to have rich management skills and business skills, with strong leadership.

Requirements

  • Relevant work experience of 3 years is required.
  • Proficient in written and oral communication skills in both English and Filipino
  • A team player and enjoys working with other people.
  • Experienced in interacting with clients of different nationalities.
  • Can easily adapt to change.
  • Objective when it comes to tasks and makes sure that all goals are met upon completion.
  • Willing to work overtime if the situation is called for.
  • Can multitask and work even under pressure.
  • Always aims for the improvement of self as well as work.
  • Experience in content moderation management or text or image annotation management experience, with 500+ team management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, English B1 Level
  • Better with PMP certificate 

  • Operation Management:
  • Collaborates and cooperates with other functional areas including Human Resources, IT, Finance and
  • Facilities in support of project implementation.
  • Maintains an excellent working knowledge of the entire Projects assigned, maintaining close relationships with stakeholders such as Associate Project Managers, Project Managers, Program Managers and clients (if applicable).
  • Accountable in overall onsite team's delivery as defined and set forth by the Project Management team.
  • Responsible for collating and accurately interpreting all performance data gathered from Project Support Specialists and Project Support Leads for timely and accurate reporting of team status and performance to Project Managers
  • Provide overall leadership and support to Project Support Specialists and Project Support Leads in a manner consistent with Appen Core values and Business Initiatives
  • Able to do analysis and RCAs to drive performance, efficiencies, and productivity based on and in support of Project Management team directives.
  •  Ensure that onsite project team performance goals are met as defined by Project Management team.
  • Able to manage multiple projects on a highly matrixed environment.
  • Manage financials of project workers' engagement-related activities, if any, outside of project budget and/or other support department scope.
  • Maintains open door policy.
  • Able to do presentations in front of stakeholders.
  • Establishes positive collaboration with Project Teams in the delivery of customer requirements.
  • Project Management:
  • Deliver project objectives within project scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Develop and execute delivery and quality management plans to support a project end-to-end.
  • Coordinate technical activities and aspects of the projects.
  • Provide regular project status reporting and in-depth analysis when required.
  • Build strong client relationships to increase client satisfaction and revenue opportunities.
  • Drive continuous project improvements and efficiencies.
  • Coordinate between project team members in a matrix environment.
  • Communicate, with all stakeholders, in a timely, clear, and concise manner across multiple time zones.
  • Manage risks and issues and undertake recovery actions as necessary.
  • Prepare and implement project plans, prepare reports and project-related materials.
  • Solicit and use input and feedback from client, Appen managers and ICs to help drive efficiencies and improve quality plans.
  • Participate in the training and mentoring of new and existing Appen staff.
  • Participate in program improvements, initiatives, and committee work as assigned.
