Barbaricum is seeking a senior-level Program Manager to lead a substantial contract supporting the Condition-Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) initiative for the United States Marine Corps. The Program Manager will act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, overseeing deliverables, project timelines, and the overall success of the CBM+ program.
In this role, the Program Manager will coordinate a diverse team, including data engineers, software developers, model developers, visualization engineers, configuration management specialists, cybersecurity experts, logistics professionals, and vehicle subject matter experts.
The objective will be to achieve key program deliverables in support of CBM+ systems and product lines. Responsibilities will encompass design, development, system integration, sensor and data fusion, data management, data mining, production, information assurance/cybersecurity, installation, rapid prototyping, Research Development Test and Evaluation (RDT&E), Configuration Management, and sustainment of IT and software-centric systems for the USMC customer.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Government’s point of contact.
- Manage the overall planning, direction and success of the contract, systems development efforts, and research or technology initiatives.
- Responsible for the overall program definition, organization, and direction of short and long range plans.
- Lead for formulating, guiding, and directing the technical approach; and defining and negotiation with NSWC personnel for necessary resources.
- Establish and control technical milestones, schedules, budgets and costs.
- Manage contract performance to include: providing subcontract management, monitoring invoicing, coordinating contract change proposals; and understanding the needs and customer expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret Clearance required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline; Master’s Degree preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- 10 years of related senior project management experience
- Experience providing oversight of large, multi-functional project teams, specifically in an information technology environment
- Experience planning and managing complex tasks—sometimes under tight budget and time constraints—across a geographically dispersed and remote/virtual workforce
- Strong management and leadership skills, written and oral communications skills
- Experience in Government acquisition; contract and subcontract management
