What is a Senior Product Owner?

We are looking for someone who has previously worked in the field of Analytics Management and can bring value to the Data Services & Sciences team at JAZZ by benefitting from previous engagements. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, truthful, innovative, collaborative, and customer-focused, and must demonstrate these traits from previous experiences these abilities. The candidate needs to have worked in large-scale analytics teams across various technologies & industries. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality products and features.

You will be joining a 65-member team (including the department head) with various project teams and will be reporting directly to the Head of Data Monetization

What a Senior Product Owner does?

·        Successfully deliver projects needed for the department and liaise with other projects across JAZZ in which Data Services & Sciences is involved

·        Own the product backlog, define technical requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of innovative solutions that align with business goals and customer needs

·        Collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical challenges and make informed trade-offs on implementation decisions.

·        Stakeholder management, both internal and external

·        Help bridge the gap between technology & business teams

• Build and maintain solutions to meet the analytical requirements of the company & its clients

·        Identify the improvement areas in existing products and propose solutions to fill those gaps

·        Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to inform product development strategies.

·        Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories.

·        Not only deliver on the practice backlog, to improve standards and learning within the team, but also propose new values that could be incorporated into the practice

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be a Senior Product Owner?

• Minimum 6 years of experience in the Data Services & Sciences domain
• Have a deep understanding of Data Monetization concepts
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into layman’s terms for stakeholders
• Understanding of working with various technologies and vendors like Teradata, Oracle, Cloud platforms, open-source technologies etc.
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases
• Knowledge of implementation of futuristic analytical use cases such as data monetization, analytics as a service, data as a service etc.
• Experience working with APIs, microservices architecture, and data-driven product development.
• Working experience in one or more business areas and industries: Telecom, Retail, Financial etc.
• Experience working as primary business liaison, handling customer requirements & expectation management
