We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Product Manager to lead Yapily’s Core Payments & Data portfolio including Core APIs and the Hosted Pages products. Our payments and data APIs connect our customers to thousands of banks and enable them to create smoother user journeys and eliminate unnecessary fees. This role holds a significant level of responsibility and scope within Yapily, spearheading the development and strategic growth of our core products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building user-centric web products, as well as deep experience in API design and development.

This is an incredible opportunity to be a leader in Open Banking and re-invent the way we think about and process payments and data. You will lead the effort to position Yapily as the frontrunner in Open Banking and Open Finance, by managing the strategy and execution of core product initiatives and by delivering products that provide the best developer and end user experience.

Requirements

  • Own and drive the strategic roadmap for Yapily’s core Payments & Data APIs and Hosted Pages, ensuring they align with company objectives and deliver exceptional value to users.
  • Engage with the Open Banking ecosystem - fintechs, banks, regulators and operators - via working groups and bilateral conversations in order to build market knowledge, assess new opportunities and expand Yapily’s presence in new markets
  • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and requirement definition to development, launch, and continuous improvement.
  • Prioritise and champion user experience, focusing on creating intuitive and effective web tooling that enhances customer engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, operations, and customer success teams to build, test, and optimise products.
  • Define, track, and analyse key performance metrics to ensure products meet business and user success criteria.
  • Act as a key liaison for stakeholders, communicating product vision, strategy, and updates clearly and effectively.
  • Promote a culture of customer-centric, data-driven decision-making by incorporating feedback, market research, and analytics into product development.
  • Mange the end-to-end go-to-market journey of Yapily Core products, partnering with the Commercial Team through end to end lifecycle

We would love you to have:

  • Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Product Manager in the payments, financial services, or open banking sectors.
  • Proven expertise in building and launching user-focused web products and mobile SDKs.
  • Strong background in API design and development, with hands-on experience in building or overseeing API products.
  • Experience engaging with customers/ end users to inform product strategy & validation
  • Exceptional ability to distil complex technical concepts and present them clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a history of managing major product initiatives and delivering significant business impact, paired with strong decision making and prioritisation skills, especially when multiple trade-offs are involved
  • Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to adapting to evolving market demands.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech company or startup environment.
  • Familiarity with open banking standards and regulatory landscapes across Europe and the UK.
  • Experience in producing customer-facing documentation and engaging with developer communities.
  • Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s) in a relevant field.
