The Settlement Product team owns the order-to-cash and sellers’ settlement experience across various business verticals at Coupang. Our team collaborates with various Engineering, Finance, Seller Experience and Support teams to ensure that all transactions produced by the various platforms at Coupang with financial impact are accurately accounted for.

 

We are seeking a result-driven Senior Product Manager to own the vision and roadmap to elevate the seller settlement experience. The role will dive deep to understand the sellers’ settlement needs across various business verticals and ensure that our sellers are paid accurately and on time. This role will collaborate closely with various business owners to understand the unique settlement requirements and drive the development of a comprehensive and scalable settlement system.

 

As a Senior Product Manager of the Settlement Product team, you will:

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the settlement product, ensuring alignment with company objectives and stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, engineering, design, data, and operations, to drive end-to-end product development from ideation to launch and continuous improvement.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, such as Finance, Operations, Sales, and Customer Support to understand vendor settlement requirements, gather feedback, and validate product assumptions.
  • Prioritize product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria, maintaining a well-organized backlog and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality releases.
  • Develop a deep understanding of settlement needs and workflows, leveraging user research, data analysis, and usability testing to make data-informed decisions and iterate on product features.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, adjust the roadmap and strategy as necessary, and drive continuous improvements.
  • Communicate product status, progress, and insights to stakeholders and leadership, fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration.

 

Basic Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of delivering successful, large-scale products in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset and a commitment to evidence-based decision making.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and delivery results under varying constraints.

 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • MBA or equivalent degree is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, and industry best practices, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by eCommerce businesses.
  • Experience building and launching Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS).
