Attributes Of An Ideal Candidate / What You’ll Do In This Role
- Passion to empower working people, and small/medium sized businesses.
- 5+yrs excellence in product development full lifecycle: customer research to delivery, measurement, iteration. 3+yrs B2B. Startup experience required, ideally 0-1 as first PM.
- Preferred exposure to fintech, insurtech, and/or proptech. Real estate knowledge a plus.
- Amplifies productivity with product best practices, methodologies, and tools. Hands-on experience in agile development. Versatility in ML, cutting edge tech. API-first approach.
- Exceptional business acumen: understanding market trends and customer needs to inform product strategy. Customer-obsessed, prioritizing user experience.
- Strong abstract thinking and leadership skills, capable of managing across multiple products. Able to switch from high level strategy to UI polish and data model details.
- Collaborative and receptive to guidance, while taking initiative to independently steer product direction, take calculated risks, and make critical decisions.
- Partner on go-to-market execution, product messaging, and sales enablement materials/demos. Help pitch customers, collect/harness feedback, close sales.
- Extreme grit, perseverance in driving projects to completion. Provides insights, challenges, recommendations on strategy, investment priorities, business opportunities.
- Leverage data and user research to evolve products. Partner closely with design/engineering. Validate assumptions at low cost. Fail fast, iterate.
Compensation & Requirements
- Compensation commensurate with skill set with a bias toward equity to ensure shareholder alignment, hunger, and “skin in game”.

- Work from home, living locally in Austin (within 30 miles of downtown) for community purposes. Open to remote on an exception basis.
