Palo Alto Networks is building a world-class product management organization and is looking for a top-notch product manager to expand the team. As a Product Manager at Palo Alto Networks for our Prisma Access solution, you will drive the strategy, feature functionality, and roadmap for the core solution, including cloud infrastructure and overall security/network architecture. You will be expected to deliver product functionality that matches Palo Alto Networks’ level of innovation found throughout the product. You will be involved in all stages of the feature lifecycle (conception, definition, development, release, and post-release activities) managing strategic planning, feature selection, and tactical activities.

Other responsibilities include collaborating with Product Marketing to create product-related sales and marketing materials; and evangelizing the products and product strategy internally and externally.

Your Impact

  • Help build and launch a new class of public cloud security platform by extending, enriching, and enhancing Prisma Access 
  • Build, enrich, and enhance visibility framework to provide deep insights into critical KPIs to track product success, adoption, and day 0-N Prisma Access customer journey
  • A passion for the customer journey, user experience, usability, and a knack for simplicity are critical in this role
  • Own the entire lifecycle of the feature/product from conception, definition, development, release
  • Work with the product marketing team to develop compelling sales tools and marketing content to support sales and field marketing teams
  • Work with NPI, certification, professional services, support, and education teams, to ensure your products get coverage by these cross-functional team

Your Experience 

  • Successful experience in Product Management or Technical Marketing Engineer role in networking, cloud, and/or security domain
  • Deliver high-quality work in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • Strong focus on end-user experience
  • Customer engagement and relationship development for executive briefings, product evangelism, and requirements gathering
  • Ability to take on full ownership of Product lifecycle from conception, writing product requirements, working with engineering to build the product, and then working with sales and customer success team to drive customer adoption
  • Deliver high-quality work in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for internal and external audiences
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Other engineering/technical degree or equivalent military experience required

Our Product Management Team helps us do just that.

They provide behind-the-scenes support for our products by being a source of information on our products for our systems engineers, staying on top of the environment we sell in, and helping to implement product-wide technical solutions based on our client’s feedback and needs. Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $167,000/yr to $269,600/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
