The Payroll team is responsible for advancing and growing Toast’s Payroll business, as a part of the Toast Team Suite, the vision of which is to develop an all-in-one, AI-powered team management suite, purpose-built for restaurants. The team’s mission is to provide easy-to-use tools for restaurants to pay and reward their employees with as little overhead as possible. This group is highly product oriented, with a laser-focus on creating top tier consumer experiences for restaurant operators and payroll processors. We work closely in the triad model (Product, Design, Engineering) and have an unwavering eye toward speed, experimentation, iteration and delivering meaningful results.
About this roll* (Responsibilities)
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the customer onboarding experience for the Payroll product. We’re seeking a leader who has an obsession for deeply understanding user needs, creating world-class products, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Ambiguity is your friend, and in leading the Payroll Customer Onboarding team, you’ll be responsible for building an experience that makes it easy and sticky for customers to start using Toast Payroll, including a world where customers have to switch payroll providers to do so. You love solving complex problems and embrace an iterative mindset. You are grounded in customer feedback, cross-functional partnership, and an ability to translate customer needs and product vision into world-class experiences. And last, but not least, you understand that what makes a team successful is its people, and want to foster an environment where we can all perform at our best.
