The CRM Technologies Team plays a crucial role in optimizing our sales processes, streamlining customer interactions, and maximizing the efficiency of our sales efforts. Job Brief
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to craft software and platforms that deliver exceptional user experiences, specifically within Salesforce environments. The ideal candidate will combine interfaces and workflows to optimize the user experience, ensuring solutions that are both intuitive and effective.
As a UX Designer, you should be both analytical and creative—able to understand user needs and translate them into actionable design solutions. Your ability to solve complex problems and your strong portfolio of successful UX projects will be key.
Responsibilities
- Understand product specifications and user psychology to tailor designs that meet both business goals and user expectations
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights, create user personas, and refine designs based on data from different user segments
- Define the right interaction models and evaluate their success through iterative feedback
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and workflows that address customer needs and Salesforce user scenarios
- Find creative solutions to UX challenges like usability, navigation, and information accessibility (e.g., usability, findability)
- Collaborate with UI designers and occasionally contribute to the design process, ensuring visually appealing solutions that enhance user engagement
- Communicate design ideas and prototypes effectively to developers for seamless implementation
- Stay updated on industry trends and Salesforce product updates to bring modern and relevant design techniques to the platform
- Work with cross-functional teams to create user journeys that drive efficiency and adoption within the Salesforce ecosystem
- Translate design concepts into prototype solutions quickly, while balancing technical feasibility and design intent
Minimum Requirements
- Proven 8+ experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer, or similar role
- Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
- Proficient in design software (e.g., UXPin, Balsamiq)
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript, & Salesforce Lightning Design System Framework is a plus
- Bachelor's in Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- A strong portfolio of successful UX and other technical projects is essential
- Knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies
- Proven analytical and problem-solving ability to grasp concepts quickly and deliver results against ambitious timelines
- Excellent communication skills, able to present and influence senior management
Technical Skills
UX Designers are expected to have a mix of technical skills and proficiency in various design tools to effectively carry out their role. Here are some of the key technical skills and tools commonly expected from a UX Designer
- Prototyping, wireframing, user flows, mockups: Ability to create visual guides that represent the skeletal framework of digital applications
- Visual design: Understanding of layout, color theory, typography, and brand consistency
- User research and usability testing: Skills to conduct studies to gather user feedback and improve the design
- Information architecture: Ability to organize information within the product to make it understandable and navigable
- Interaction design: Understanding of how users interact with interactive elements on a platform
- Application development: Basic knowledge of how applications are built, which can help in creating realistic designs
Tool Proficiency
- Design software: Familiarity with tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or equivalent for creating high-fidelity designs
- Prototyping tools: Experience with tools such as InVision, Origami Studio, or Axure for building interactive prototypes
Success Measures
- In 3 months, you will have acquired complete knowledge of the CRM systems and tools at MongoDB and also have a full grasp of the current business process and implementations by working closely with the senior resources in the team
- In 6 months, you will have successfully implemented and delivered the UI/UX projects in the Salesforce CRM area
- In 12 months, you will have established successful relationships with our key PODs and partners and become the go-to person for all things on UI/UX and dramatically improved the UI/UX experience on salesforce platform
