About the Role:

This is an opportunity to build the content cold starting ecosystem at Tubi and other state of art ML products. You will partner closely with Machine Learning Engineering, Content, Data Science, Legal, UX Research, and Platform PM teams to build world-class ML products for one of the largest AVOD streaming services in the world.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be leading end-to-end product development of ecosystem for content Cold Starting
  • Translate and communicate the core value proposition of complex technical products to both executive and less-technical audiences
  • Your vision and ability to develop and deliver will be critical to working closely with Engineering, Content, Legal, and Partnerships to drive our most critical product initiatives in ML
  • Partner with cross-departmental stakeholders to develop a comprehensive multi-year vision and define an ML strategy focused on maximizing business impact
  • Co-define product vision, strategies, and roadmaps based on a shared view of product priorities with the product owner and team
  • Address prioritization challenges via data-driven rationale
  • Ability to evaluate alternatives and make compelling recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers, data scientists, data engineers, full stack engineers, infrastructure engineers and strategists in ensuring product backlogs and story creation are aligned with the product strategy
  • As a Senior Product Manager, you will be part of the larger product leadership on ML products and you will be seen as the subject matter expert on ML products
  • Ability to Influence cross-functional decisions among stakeholders without direct authority

Your Background:

  • Master’s degree or PhD from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years as a Product Manager
  • 2-3 years of ML experience
  • You have worked on developing an ML product by understanding business problems, validating them with data and developing ML solutions to make an impact on business KPIs
  • Both theoretical and practical experience in data-mining and labeling, feature selection, statistical techniques, and machine learning / deep learning algorithms
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms; classification, regression, clustering, reinforcement learning, algorithm design etc
  • Familiarity with natural language processing and text analytics
  • Familiarity with Big Data frameworks

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is listed annually below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, long term incentive plan, and various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
