We're Looking For

A Senior Product Manager to help revolutionize our vehicle reconditioning process. You will be an integral part of our team, driving innovation and shaping the future of our industry.  This role offers the opportunity to leverage technologies like machine learning and AI to automate processes and create groundbreaking solutions. You will collaborate with a high-performing team and engage in all facets of the software delivery process, from market research and associate interviews to solution design and product iteration. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact and transform the way we recondition vehicles. 

Responsibilities

You will collect and analyze data, work closely with design and engineering and be tightly coupled to your key stakeholders to scope releases, write detailed requirements, and prioritize features and bugs. You’re also expected to be the expert in your domain, ultimately responsible for the success of each project, movement of metrics and the long-term trajectory of “Driving Customers Happy”.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Help drive the vision and strategy, participating end to end in the product SDLC
  • Write requirements and acceptance criteria, partnering with UX, engineering, data science, and QA 
  • Focus the team on solving the most important problems with solutions that put our users first
  • Run and analyze product experiments, determining our next move if we get unexpected results
  • Be actively involved in interpreting analytics and product data
  • Collaborate with Carvana's Engineering, Creative, Marketing, Finance, Pricing, and Customer Advocate teams. As we say in Carvana, “There are no sidelines.”

Required Skills And Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in software product management
  • Deep software experience at one or more operational focused supply chain companies 
  • Proficient with SQL, Excel and Data Analytics with a deep understanding of metrics management 
  • Split-testing A/B design and interpretation
  • Great communication and collaboration skills
  • A sense of humor. Read this again, if necessary

It Would Be Great If You Also Had

  • Good design sensibility (your wireframes don’t make people laugh or cry)
  • Knowledge of data science best practices
  • Understanding of how machine learning and AI solve real business problems
  • Product strategy prioritization experience
  • Familiarity with building and launching reporting and dashboarding solutions
