Senior Product Manager - HR Systems

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Product Owner - HR Tech  to manage and optimize our suite of HR systems, including BambooHR, Workday Peakon (employee engagement), and Greenhouse ATS (applicant tracking). The Product Owner - HR Tech  will work closely with People leadership, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure these platforms are fully aligned with the company's talent and people strategies and deliver value across DEPT.  They will be responsible for the overall performance, user adoption, and continuous improvement of the systems to support our People processes effectively.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience ideally in a Product Owner / manager role but also consider experience as a HRIS Manager or HR Systems Specialist with hands-on experience managing BambooHR.
  • Good understanding of HR processes, including employee lifecycle management, recruitment, performance management, and engagement.
  • Technical proficiency with HR systems and tools, including configuration, integration, and data management.
  • Experience with product management methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and the ability to prioritize and manage product backlogs effectively.
  • Project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing system implementations or upgrades.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Product Ownership & Roadmap Management:
    • Own the product lifecycle for BambooHR, Workday Peakon, and Greenhouse ATS, including configuration, enhancements, and upgrades.
    • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with both the People Department. and wider company goals, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across all People systems.
    • Prioritize feature requests, bug fixes, and system improvements, based on user feedback, business needs, and industry trends.
    • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of employee data across all systems.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with the People Team, IT, and other cross-functional teams to gather system requirements, identify pain points, and deliver solutions that improve user experience.
    • Act as the primary point of contact between the HR department and technology teams for all system-related issues and enhancements.
    • Communicate product vision, updates, and priorities clearly to all relevant stakeholders.
  • System Optimization & Integration:
    • Ensure optimal functionality and integration between BambooHR, Workday Peakon, and Greenhouse ATS, driving automation and improving efficiency in HR operations.
    • Collaborate with IT and external vendors to manage integrations with other internal systems (e.g., payroll, benefits platforms).
    • Continuously assess system performance and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, or enhanced reporting.
