This opportunity is part of the McDonald’s Customer Experience, Innovation & Product team where our vision is to develop digital customer experiences that delight our customers and enable our crews to operate our restaurants reliably and effectively.

The Senior Product Manager, Global Web Application is responsible for partnering cross-functionally to identify, define and deploy Global Web Application (McDonald’s new e-commerce website). In this role, you’ll work with multi-functional teams, such as tech leads, designers, developers, data, business and market stakeholders, and external vendors, to define and implement a robust global web strategy. You’ll be the champion of the web channel customer, translating their needs and feedback into product requirements and driving customer-centric product development. The Senior Product Manager will also identify growth opportunities to ensure GWA remains relevant to the market and meets customer needs. You will also partner with the broader Channels team, integrating best-in-class applications that bring all the experiences together into a cohesive, usable, and accessible interface.

This is an excellent opportunity for an expert product manager to help craft the transformation and define the product vision of the Global Web Application.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Subject matter expert in Web commerce and brings a strong perspective on Web strategies and understand its role within the broader customer experience at McDonald’s.
  • Drive product development for Global Web Application (GWA) and partner with the experience pillars across Order & Engage to align on features and a holistic channel strategy.
  • Define and prioritize features, user stories, and backlog items and ensure that they are communicated effectively to the development team.
  • Manage the product release cycle, including planning, testing, and market deployment.
  • Craft and execute a comprehensive product roadmap and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Develop pricing strategies and revenue models and collaborate with the marketing teams on go-to-market plans.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and technologies to advise product strategy and ensure the product portfolio remains competitive.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as design, engineering, marketing, operations, legal, and analytics to define improvement opportunities in the form of epics and stories.
  • Thoroughly understand customer needs and anticipate customer demands to develop engaging, best-in-class digital experience for the global websites.
  • Ruthlessly prioritize epics and stories within the backlog to deliver the highest value features first and make calculated trade-offs where necessary.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end flow of GWA to ensure the best-in-class experience for the web channel customer.
  • Shared cross-product concerns, including cross-cutting experiences like navigation and information architecture and common shared resources like design systems.

Basic Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science or an equivalent.
  • 6+ years’ experience working in a software development environment as product manager.
  • Demonstrate a track record in product management with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data insights into product enhancements.
  • Experience partnering with stakeholders across an at-scale, complex, global matrixed org setup a plus.
  • Strong experience in Agile Development, application of Agile techniques and delivery practices.
  • Communication skills with ability to explain complex technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to advise product strategy.
  • (Bonus) Knowledge of web content management systems like Adobe Experience Manager.
