Overview:

TP-Link Systems is building a world-class product management organization and continues to look for top-notch product managers to expand the team. As a Senior Product Manager for Firewall/Security, you will be at the forefront of advancing our Security stack.

This role demands a unique combination of technical acumen, security expertise and product management skills. You'll play a pivotal role executing to our Firewall/Security strategy, working closely with engineering teams to bring innovative products to market. You will be responsible for driving the product strategy and operations, feature functionality and roadmap for Firewall and Security. In addition to your creativity, you will also rely on interaction with customers and partners to understand requirements and problems. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products meet market demands, deliver exceptional value, and maintain a competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the product strategy, planning, and operations
• Feature prioritization and trade-off decision-making
• Market and customer analysis, requirements development, business case, collateral, and product positioning
• Work closely with engineering teams to define product requirements and roadmaps - Translate complex technical concepts into actionable plans
• Work closely with the UI/UX team to define user experience for the product
• Create content for all stakeholders that are key to your product's success, such as support teams, sales teams, etc.
• Customer engagement and relationship development for executive briefings, product evangelism, and requirements gathering
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure successful product launches and market adoption - Be an advocate for the product internally and externally
• Engage with customers to gather insights, validate concepts, and understand evolving needs in the SD-WAN and SASE landscape and continually improve the user experience

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in product management (Firewall and Security technologies)
• Domain experience in Networking and Network Security
• Strong technical background with deep understanding of Enterprise Firewall space or Security technologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Preferred qualifications:

• CCIE or CCNP in Security, CCSP or CISSP
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• MBA Preferred

Salary range: $142,000 - $222,000
