About The Role:
As a Senior Product Manager, you lead the development team and collaborate with Drivemode cross-functional members and global Honda teams to build the future mobile apps and software platforms of electric vehicles. Your particular focus is to build great user experiences and competitive features that satisfy various regions’ needs such as Asia, Japan, and Europe. The projects could include but are not limited to, vehicle purchase and delivery experience, navigation, entertainment and communication features to keep our customers connected on the road, and data analysis. You will also be responsible for representing the voice of the customer, creating product strategy, defining product roadmaps, and aligning stakeholders.

What you will be doing:

  • You will own the product backlog, prioritize, refine, write specifications, and deliver features
  • You will create detailed specifications while working with engineers in understanding the feasibility and viability of the features.
  • Continuously test our products to ensure high product quality.
  • Review current process and identify improvement points
  • Understand Honda’s business goals and product goals and incorporate them into product plans.
  • Analyze the product performance, generate hypotheses and iterate on the product discovery process

What we are looking for:

  • At least 5 years experience as a Product Manager working on software products
  • You are able to shape and lead product discovery following lean/agile principles
  • You have exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • You are a customer champion and can execute a roadmap to achieve great outcomes for customers
  • You are a team player and know how to use soft power to motivate people around you
  • A flexible attitude and entrepreneurial mindset, willing to do what it takes, even if it's outside of your usual responsibility area

Nice to have:

  • Business level Japanese communication skills, at minimum verbally.
  • Experience in automotive, mobile, or navigation software products.
