(Senior) Product Manager - Digital OR

We’re seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Manager for our Quip Surgery Platforms. You’ll play a critical role in our Product Management & Marketing department by promoting customer solutions for our Digital OR Quip Surgery Platforms. Your main responsibility is to drive and ensure long-term success for the portfolio.

Product Management serves as the voice of the customer to internal Brainlab audiences and the voice of Brainlab to the customer. We are responsible for evolving our customer experience and for driving product commercialization by specifying, launching and maturing products.

Integrated within a team of product managers for all clinical indications, you will be collaborating with multiple internal departments including R&D, Marketing and international Sales for Digital OR. Built as an open, modular platform, Brainlab integrated digital OR gathers, manages and displays the right data in all setups, whether simple or complex, from straightforward general surgery to high-end hybrid ORs.

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

  • Define a product vision and strategy, in consultation/collaboration with various stakeholders and transform this strategy into a concrete roadmap
  • Gather market, customer, partner and sales feedback to analyze customer needs and trends, competitive information and regional requirements
  • Define and prioritize product requirements for new features
  • Develop value proposition, messaging and claims - to be substantiated with clinical evidence in collaboration with the Clinical Marketing team
  • Participate in relevant events and sales presentations to promote our products
  • Monitor global service sales and business performance against objectives and forecasts and provide regular reports with key business figures and KPIs
  • Develop and deliver enablement content and training to increase sales’ ability to articulate the product value
  • Manage product/article lifecycle (launching, quoting, pricing, updates, compatibility, phase-out)

In order to exceed in this role, you should have:

  • Proven technical and product-focused track record or professional experience of three or more years in the O.R. environment
  • Degree in business administration, engineering or related field
  • Demonstrated ability of collecting user requirements (voice of the customer) and translating them into a viable product roadmap
  • Ability to work effectively alone, with limited supervision and as part of a collaborative team of diverse individuals
  • Ability to work to a consistently high standard while maintaining attention to detail and delivering against demanding timelines
  • Demonstrated product launch experience
  • Strong presentation and communications skills together with solid project management and stakeholder management ability
  • Business fluency in written and spoken English and German is a must
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time; the position is located at our Brainlab HQ in Munich
