Senior Product Manager, Content Abuse Prevention

As a Senior Product Manager for Content Abuse Prevention, you will be responsible for building detection systems, safety features and product experiences to protect the integrity of content on the platform. This will be done at scale across all of the LinkedIn apps. You will be responsible for working with our AI, data science, infrastructure, operations, marketing, design, and policy teams to define the strategy and roadmap to detect, remove and mitigate the impact of abusive content on LinkedIn. It is a highly visible and impactful role that is crucial for LinkedIn to accomplish its mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with AI, data scientists, infrastructure engineers, operations, designers, policy to lay out a comprehensive strategy and build defenses to detect & remove abusive content on the platform.

  • Define and drive execution of the roadmap in collaboration with partner teams, making trade-offs based on impact and risks

  • Develop metrics that inform the success of safety efforts, work with the engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders to launch defenses, features and product solutions.

  • Build robust processes for cross-team collaboration and effectively manage large-scale product safety improvement projects to protect LinkedIn from abusive content.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field

  • 7+ years of experience in product management or equivalent role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a technology-related field

  • Prior experience in building trust and safety or content moderation products, with a demonstrated ability to drive product planning, development and launch.

  • Strong understanding of the most recent trends around consumer web usage including experience with social media and generative AI.

  • Strong data analytical skills and experience with machine learning and AI methodologies

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with and understand technical subjects and emerging technologies and their relevance to the marketplace.

  • Proven track record of pushing ambitious products, and/or organizational or process changes 

  • Ability to manage and lead across highly cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in working with cross functional partners across different time zones, cultures and languages.
