Senior Product Manager - Checkout

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead our efforts in optimizing checkout conversion rates and delivering a localized shopping experience for our customers. As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for driving initiatives aimed at increasing sales, improving user experience, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities:: 

  • Conversion Rate Optimization:
    • Lead strategic initiatives to increase checkout conversion rates across our desktop/mobile website and native apps.
    • Conduct comprehensive analysis of user behavior, funnel performance, and conversion metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing, to implement A/B tests, design experiments, and iterate on features to drive conversion uplift.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to prioritize and execute optimization efforts, focusing on areas such as checkout flow, payment options, and form simplification.
  • Localized Shopping Experience:
    • Develop and execute strategies to provide a personalized and localized shopping experience for our diverse customer base.
    • Work closely with regional stakeholders to understand cultural nuances, language preferences, and local regulations that impact the shopping journey.
    • Leverage localization tools and technologies to efficiently scale personalized experiences while maintaining consistency across platforms.
  • Product Strategy and Roadmap:
    • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for checkout optimization and localization efforts, aligned with company goals and customer needs.
    • Prioritize feature development and optimization initiatives based on business impact, customer feedback, and market trends.
    • Communicate product plans, progress, and results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executives, product teams, and cross-functional partners.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
    • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape related to e-commerce, checkout optimization, and localization.
    • Foster a culture of experimentation and innovation within the product team, encouraging creative solutions to complex challenges.
    • Drive continuous improvement through iterative development processes, feedback loops, and performance measurement.

Qualifications:

 

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on e-commerce, conversion rate optimization, and localization.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving significant improvements in checkout conversion rates and delivering localized experiences in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making, with experience using analytics tools and A/B testing platforms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively influence and align cross-functional teams towards common goals.
  • Deep understanding of user experience principles, e-commerce trends, and internationalization/localization best practices.
  • Experience working with agile development methodologies and familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, etc.).

Generally requires five (5) plus years of product management experience

Bachelor’s degree required
