About the team:
You’ll join the AI Textbook squad within our Education Platform team, currently working on making learning with GoodNotes more efficient and enjoyable by adding science-backed learning methods to GoodNotes. 

About the job:
We are looking for a Product Manager to join our team, to focus on establishing and managing education partnerships across a global market and deliver new textbook features for our platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage partnerships with educational institutions
  • Translating product requirements from our partners to our development team, turning them into reality, so that we can delight our users and drive business outcomes
  • Generate insights from different sources so that we can make decisions on priority, scope, requirements, and direction with confidence
  • Test new features regularly and providing feedback, so that we can maintain a high bar of quality
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders (marketing, QA, CS), so that they can help drive the impact and quality of our product

Who we’re looking for

  • 7-10 years experience as a product manager
  • Good technical understanding and comfortable working closely with engineering teams. You don’t have to be an engineer, but you should be able to think like one when it matters
  • Strong prioritzation and collaboration skills with a focus on hands-down work
  • Significant experience working with educational publishers, with an understanding of how they operate
  • Great storyteller and communicator both verbally and in written form
  • Comfortable working with a high degree of uncertainty and ambiguity
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Edtech or digital textbook experience a plus

Interview process:

  • An introductory call with someone from our talent team. They want to hear more about your background, what you are looking for, and why you’d like to join Goodnotes
  • A role-specific call with one of our product managers to discuss your background and skillset for this role more in detail
  • A cross-functional call with the AI Textbook engineering manager
  • A call with your hiring manager. This is the person who will be managing you day to day, working on your growth and development with you as well as support you throughout your career at Goodnotes
  • A meet the team call with 2 or 3 GoodPeople you’d be working closely with at Goodnotes
