Visa is developing new capabilities for use in Account-to-Account (A2A) payment flows, with participation in this space a strategic priority for the business.
This role in Visa’s Nordic & Baltic (N&B) Product team is responsible for driving delivery and commercialisation for Visa’s account to account and multi-rail products across the Nordic and Baltic markets. The role will interact closely with the A2A Hub product team, especially in the early phase of solution design and client validation, but also closely with CS, Pricing and Analytics teams as the product move into launch and lifecycle.
The successful candidate having a nuanced ability to influence and collaborate across a complex and highly matrixed organisation. This position will report to the Head of Digital Solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design the strategy and execute the GTM plan for A2A solutions for the Nordics & Baltics, in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including merchant sales, account executives, marketing, and HUB to deliver results on both sides of the issuer and acceptance ecosystem.
- Help define the Visa-wide value proposition for clients, including how account-to-account solutions could work in combination with different use cases such as Person to Person money transfer, Ecom and Face-to-Face payments.
- Work closely with the other N&B and Hub Product and solution teams to drive coordinated solution sales, especially to integrate A2A solutions inside of the overall Product narrative.
- Continue identify, articulate and prioritise Product and solutions opportunities in terms of revenues potential, backed with solid business case
- Develop, execute and monitor sales plans, forecasts, and performance metrics (gross/net revenue targets, budgets, other product metrics) and ensure alignment with the global and regional digital solutions objectives and key results (OKRs).
- Report and communicate progress, challenges, and achievements both internally and externally and across executive levels
- Maintain deep technical understanding of the A2A solutions portfolios including product roadmap, underlying infrastructure stack, technical specs, product upgrades and new releases, etc.
- Collect client feedback and market requirements to drive the Global product development roadmap and GTM for A2A solutions.
- Manage processes and driving decisions with Risk and Legal alongside the Hub team to ensure clear pathways for product delivery – e.g. NBIA etc.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
- Payment processing technology work experience and understanding of macroeconomics, regulation, consumer behaviour and product operations with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Subject Mater expertise: a good understanding of traditional and emerging methods and players in the payments ecosystem (leveraging insights and market research), with specific experience and market understanding in the Account to Account space a distinctive plus
- Commercial Acumen: Understand product financials and experience in product strategy and commercialisation
- Technical Acumen: technical understanding of how digital payment technology work and how client infrastructure and product integration processes operate, with a solid understanding of APIs and services a plus
