Senior Product Manager (12 month contract)

Contractor

What is Redbubble

As the world's largest marketplace for independent artists, our purpose is to create and inspire new ways of experiencing connection and a sense of belonging for every person. From everyday things, to the very thing, we connect people to millions of designs on any product, on demand.

Welcome to a place that will celebrate your achievements, celebrate you solving the hard problems not just the fixes and celebrate you rapidly getting to the core of the issue rather than striving for the perfect answer.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic Product Management team on a 12-month fixed-term parental leave contract!

This position will see you play a pivotal role in supporting two key engineering teams: Fulfillment and Core. The Fulfillment team ensures our fulfillers can efficiently receive, print and ship orders, directly impacting our business through cost savings and customer satisfaction. In contract, the Core team focuses on foundational platform improvements to Redbubble's product catalogue, authentication systems and many more.

This role demands strong stakeholder engagement and advocacy skills. You'll collaborate closely with two engineering managers and report directly to the Product Director, driving significant business outcomes and innovation.

Key Accountabilities:

How you prioritise problems:

  • Set objectives: Define a product vision and near-term objectives aligned with broader strategic goals.
  • Identify & prioritise opportunities: Use customer-centric frameworks to identify high-value opportunities, prioritise based on objectives and attractiveness, and communicate via a roadmap.
  • Own the product: Be the subject matter expert with deep understanding of customer needs, competitive landscape, and key metrics.

How you solve problems:

  • Craft & validate solutions: Facilitate cross-team ideation, address product risks, and use validation techniques to select optimal solutions.
  • Lead your team: Foster an effective, engaged team that understands objectives and is empowered to contribute proactively.
  • Outcome driven: Proactively drive decision-making to advance team objectives – deliver solutions that move the needle.

How you build products:

  • Deliver solutions: Guide development team in prioritising work, establish go-to-market plans, collaborating across departments to maximise product success.
  • Lead your team: Seek ways to amplify team impact through improved work processes.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years product management experience (e-commerce platforms and/or marketplace products is a plus).
  • Strong problem solving skills that enable you to structure a problem, identify key issues and trade-offs, and use quantitative and qualitative data to make data-informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with engineers, business stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Experience working with platform teams or in problem spaces where the opportunities are around supporting other engineering teams to deliver customer outcomes.
  • Known as a compassionate, high-agency individual — one who chases outcomes, naturally draws others in and then empowers them and amplifies their impact.

What We Offer:

  • A high trust culture based on mutual respect
  • Exposure to independent artists
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Opportunity to work in a global organisation
  • Monthly Wellness allowance

Life at Redbubble
