The Role
The Global Marketing Data Product Tribe's mission is to empower the Marketing teams (International and North America) in HelloFresh with data products, services, and processes that elevate the effectiveness of how we scale our customer acquisition, reactivation, and retention tactics. We use our in-house data to advance our measurement based on experimentation, seasonality, etc We feed our insights to the budgeting process and cost tooling built to improve operational excellence in how we deploy EUR/USD spend in the best possible way to reach conversion targets and the company’s guidance on top-line revenue . We are working on strategic initiatives to improve the overall quality of data, increase the accuracy of marketing data measurements, and increase the return on investment (ROI) of marketing. Besides closely working with data professionals on marketing data products, you will work on impactful data science projects such as Marketing Media Mix Modelling, Multi Touch Attribution Modeling, etc
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager based in Berlin to lead two teams in the Tribe. You’ll also play a key role in driving our effort to establish ‘data as a product’ thinking in the tribe. You will be responsible for the company’s needs for running effective targeted marketing campaigns by providing the data products that will help marketing teams understand users’ behavior toward marketing incentives and activities.
What you will do
- Articulate the vision for two squads focussed on Marketing Attributions & Conversions and Cost Attributions to shape our customer interaction with HelloFresh
- Shape and own the product roadmap for a mission-driven, agile team of data engineers, engineers and business analysts
- Build the product backlog and prioritize it based on business value. We expect backlogs for data teams to include data analyses, visualization, and model building alongside user stories for infrastructure and engineering work
- Lead & Collaborate with a cross-functional team of Data Engineers, Data Scientist, Product Analysts, and senior business stakeholders to deliver results
- Ruthlessly prioritize to deliver the designed solution by supporting the engineering teams and tracking how your product metrics are evolving over time
- Understand how data moves through the system, is transformed, stored, visualized, and enriched through different stages of the pipelines. Ideally, you are able to code and query databases.
What you will bring
- You have solid experience (5+years) of leading product team(s) at scale in an agile environment
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- You speak the language of data engineers and analysts and are comfortable engaging in high-level technical and analytics discussions
- You have developed complex internal tools before and can skillfully connect the dots between technical initiatives and business value
- You have strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills to elicit critical requirements and manage product delivery plans and expectations.
