We are looking for a solid Senior Product Manager to manage our security and other GigaSMART-related business. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Product Management, you'll have strong Product Management DNA and communications skills, the ability to set business and technical use cases and articulate customer pain points, and the ability to work side by side with engineering to deliver a compelling roadmap. You'll be an expert in TLS, with the ability to impact and influence our larger Cybersecurity story.
What You'll Do:
- Define a vision and compelling roadmap for Gigamon's Security business and related GigaSMART functions.
- Write complete and clear requirements for engineering.
- Help drive the release planning process from planning to release delivery.
- Be an evangelist for Gigamon's Security business, and the larger Gigamon value prop.
- Work and coordinate within a strong and large team spread across the globe, with focus points in California and India.
What we look for:
- Overall 15+ years of experience, where minimum 3+ years of experience in product management, building enterprise products is required.
- Prior experience in Cyber Security, with certifications such as Security+ or CISSP being strongly preferred.
- Domain expertise on TLS is a strong plus.
- Well rounded Product Management skills, from working with customers to understand pain points, translating these into well written requirements, articulating the needs both at a technical and business level.
- Prior experience driving requirements, from initial writing, to discussions with engineering, to delivery in a release.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ideally, a technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or CyberSecurity.
- Experience working cross-functionally, with Engineering, Project Management, Marketing, and Technical Marketing/Product Marketing.
