Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Development Manager to lead our new product development (NPD) efforts. This role will involve overseeing four sub-teams, ensuring efficient workflows, and driving project timelines. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of product development processes, particularly in the context of Chinese Medicine and biochemistry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor Timeline and Workflow: Oversee the NPD timeline and ensure that all workflows are executed efficiently to meet project deadlines.
• Primary Internal Communicator: Act as the Point of Contact (PIC) for internal communication, coordinating effectively with various departments to facilitate seamless collaboration.
• OEM Communication: Manage communication with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and oversee on-site work to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Project Decision-Making: Make informed decisions throughout the project lifecycle, balancing innovation with feasibility and market needs.
• Support Information Search: Assist in gathering and providing critical information regarding product inquiries from other departments, ensuring they have the resources they need.
• Collaboration with Research Team: Work closely with the research team to integrate scientific insights into product development, ensuring products are grounded in rigorous research.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food & Nutrition, Food Technology, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science or related discipline
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in health product/food product development, with solid team management experience.
• Work in a laboratory based R&D environment
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• A collaborative mindset with a focus on cross-departmental integration.
• Good communication and negotiation skills. Fluent in Mandarin & English
• More experienced candidates can be considered for a senior title
