We are seeking a Senior Product Designer who will bring leadership, collaboration and passion for growth and innovation to the team. The ideal candidate will be skilled at each stage of the design process and possess a strong user experience mindset that keeps the needs and behaviors of our customers front and center. The work you do will empower tens of thousands of financial services leaders to help their customers make critical financial decisions that shape their lives.
What you’ll be doing:
·Lead End-to-End Design: Own the design process from ideation to execution, transforming research insights into innovative concepts, workflows, and interfaces that align with user needs and business goals.
·Shape Exceptional User Experiences: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that deliver a seamless, cohesive customer journey across Total Expert’s web and mobile apps, keeping user experience top of mind.
·Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product managers, engineers and stakeholders to align design solutions with product vision and business goals.
·Collaborate Within Team: Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the design team by sharing in-flight work with other designers and providing feedback on peer designs.
·Mentor & Guide: Provide mentorship and design guidance to junior designers or third-party contractors, ensuring a collaborative environment resulting in individual growth and high quality platform experiences.
·Champion Design Consistency: Contribute to and help maintain our design system, style guide, and component library to ensure visual and functional consistency across all platforms.
·Iterate & Optimize: Use data, user testing, and feedback to continuously refine designs, ensuring they meet user needs while driving growth and engagement for Total Expert.
What we are looking for:
· 5+ years of experience in product design or UX, with a strong portfolio that showcases user-centric digital solutions
· Passion for building innovative products and solving complex customer problems
· Ability to dig into customer behaviors and understand their mindsets and needs
· Familiarity with performing user research and translating findings into actionable improvements
· Ability to distill research feedback and communicate findings to partner teams and leadership
· Strong experience applying UX/UI principles to desktop and mobile applications
· Ability to think strategically and act tactically
· Proficient in Figma and experience working with design systems
· Demonstrated experience working in an agile environment
· Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions to cross-functional teams
· Ability to work independently paired with a desire to learn and grow
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with creating and leveraging design systems
· Experience working in SaaS companies
· Experience designing CRM products
· Familiar with complex, data-driven interfaces (data tables, data visualization)
· CSS skills a plus
· Knowledge of Financial Services industry a plus
