We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Product team.
As a Senior Product Designer at parcelLab, you will be the driving force behind the visual and interactive aspects of our products. Your expert design vision will shape engaging, intuitive, and aesthetically pleasing product experiences. You will be the leading authority on UX design, working autonomously and in close collaboration with Product Owners across different product lines, providing design leadership that aligns with our product strategies and meets market and customer needs.
What you can expect:
- Lead and manage the design aspects of feature development, including prototyping and design work when needed, setting timelines and collaborating with our frontend engineering and product teams to ensure seamless development and rollout of design elements.
- Partner closely with Product Owners to understand and influence product vision and strategy, ensuring design coherence with business goals and user needs.
- Innovate and iterate on design concepts for new functionalities across our product suites, from initial sketches to final deliverables, ensuring they meet the highest standards for aesthetics and usability.
- Iteratively prototype and test designs to refine user experiences, adapting to technical constraints as we go along.
- Define and establish a flexible UI design system that enhances team capabilities, streamlines processes, and ensures consistency across all projects while adapting to evolving needs
- Stay ahead of market trends, industry best practices, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation, driving impactful product differentiation.
What you need to succeed:
- Extensive experience in Product Design in a B2B context, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create intuitive user interfaces, seamless user experiences, and impactful visual designs.
- Ability to connect with users and stakeholders to understand the problems and needs as basis for developing product & feature concepts
- Deep understanding of customer needs with a relentless commitment to delivering exceptional value.
- Mastery of design and prototyping tools (e.g., FIGMA, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision).
- Superior collaboration and communication skills, capable of working effectively with Product Owners and other stakeholders.
- Strong focus on usability and creating intuitive interfaces for to both beginners and power users. Prioritizes function over visual differentiation, ensuring that designs are familiar and easy to use.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks based on business impact.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data-driven decision-making and effective prioritization.
- Product Design experience in SaaS or startup/scale-up environments.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as scrum and experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English. Additional languages (German, French, Spanish, etc.) are a plus.
- +Skilled at quickly building clear visual hierarchies and has a solid understanding of designing user focused B2B interfaces.
Nice to have:
- Previous experience in the e-commerce or retail industry.
- Experience in UI development with React or similar frontend frameworks.
