Senior Product Designer

Monite builds a global finance API platform, used by FinTech SaaS providers and neobanks to embed financial products into their apps. We build APIs, SDKs, and other development tools to help any developer integrate with our platform in several hours. 

About the role 🏃🏼

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Senior Product Designer with 4-6 years of Product Design experience (preferably in FinTech industry) who is excited to dive deeper with us on financial services such as Invoicing/AR and Account Payables/AP.

The candidate should be a self-starter, fully proficient in running and taking responsibility for product design operations such as: product research, competitive analysis, drafting user flows, creating high fidelity designs and prototypes using Design System + working with product managers, developers, and stakeholders across the company + leading product design delivery with the help of Head of CX and supporting designers. We are looking for someone with proven success in coming into a new field, figuring it out, building a new product from scratch and making it successful. It’s key you have the experience of working with clients, conducting interviews & gathering feedback, and iterating based on it. Strong familiarity with key product methodologies and your own mix that you apply is expected for this role.

🎒 Key responsibilities

• Own product design (UI/UX) of Payments and Accounts Payable domains
• Own Figma prototypes (Demos) for respective functionality
• Own Figma files for respective functionality, keep & maintain them in order
• Own design assets such as User Journeys, User Flow diagrams and other
• Planning & running usability study activities where and when needed
• Doing competitor analysis and market research where and when needed to define the best possible UX solutions for given user problems.

⚒️ Design & other experience

Must-haves for the role:

• 4-6 years of experience working as a product designer

• Experience in conducting customer interviews

• Proficient in UX research

• Strong communication skills, including managing up/down

• Strong knowledge of UX patterns and guidelines

• Strong visual and UI taste for beauty

• Experience working with supporting designers, managing and guiding them

Will be a plus:

• FinTech experience

• Knowledge of AP/AR/Payments domains.
