Senior Product Designer, Acuity Scheduling (Mobile App)

Acuity Scheduling is a distinct brand and platform within the Squarespace suite of products. Our mission is to help appointment-based businesses start and grow their service by allowing clients to directly schedule appointments, removing administrative burden and giving our users more time to focus on what they love doing.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to help guide a thoughtful evolution of the Acuity mobile experience. You will work with product managers, engineers, user research, analytics and product marketing, creating the full user journey of our mobile scheduling experiences, including how our new brand guidelines improve the end-to-end product experience.

You will report to the Product Design Lead of Acuity Scheduling. Acuity is headquartered in New York City and you'll have the option to work onsite or fully remote.

You’ll Get To…

  • Think holistically about the user journey and product ecosystem
  • Create thoughtful, elegant solutions to complex problems, and present those solutions clearly
  • Improve upon existing design paradigms, while simultaneously pushing to evolve our design systems
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams from concept through delivery and maintain clear team understanding around goals and priorities
  • Help define key metrics to track success and business impact
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing and UXR to develop and deliver product consistency that is on-brand, such as information architecture, sitemaps, and wireframes that tell a cohesive story of opportunities for improvement.

Who We’re Looking For…

  • 4+ years of experience
  • Background in UX methodologies, payment or admin systems, mobile-focused interaction design and design systems
  • Relevant experience with sketching, wireframes, visual design, design systems and prototyping for product experiences with a mobile-first mindset
  • Demonstrates clear design development, application of service design and information architecture, and experience facilitating a variety of UX methodologies including research, prototype testing, and iteration.
  • Demonstrates excellent story-telling in a portfolio presentation with the ability to tailor your context to different audiences by showing breadth and depth of thought.
  • Passion for products you design and the impact they have in the world
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, browsers, and mobile devices

Cash Compensation Range: $118,000 - $207,000 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
