The Position: The Senior Product Coordinator facilitates the change management process for updates made to ISN’s applications and technologies, including ISNetworld – our database for online contractor safety management, and Empower – our mobile application which helps workers stay informed of ISN Hiring Client requirements and take action from wherever the job takes them. The position exposes individuals to the complete Software Development Life Cycle.
Who should apply?
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- 3+ years’ experience as a dedicated Product Owner experiences owning the product life cycle for an application available to end users
- 3+ years’ experience working on a SaaS product with control over the software development life cycle
- 3+ years’ experience in Agile Scrum methodology
- Proficient presentation skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certifications preferred
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the change management process for updates to ISNetworld and Empower applications and environments:
- Assist with identifying areas of opportunity for assigned products that align with ISN’s business strategy and allow for future advancement and expansion of usage
- Prioritize requests and improvement opportunities and communicate across the company
- Assist Software Engineering in breaking down work for Sprints, developing project milestones and ensuring roadmap and priority timelines are met
- Liaise with Business Analysts to develop User Acceptance Criteria for User Stories and identify and capture the return on investment (ROI) of projects
- Maintain product backlog readiness for assigned team
- Monitor Azure DevOps to ensure that bugs and PBIs are prioritized and completed in a timely manner
- Organize work and release planning to align with Products Management’s goal for consistent incremental delivery
- Complete testing of product updates based on assigned products/tools
- Maintain and grow product expertise:
- Serve as an expert on assigned products/tools, which will be heavy use tools for customers
- Lead sprint reviews and product-specific trainings
- Create and maintain product (Wiki) documentation and process flowcharts/diagrams of Product business rules, history, intentions, and realized return on investment
- Manage additional/multiple projects that run simultaneously
Job Location: 3232 McKinney Ave Ste 1500, Dallas, TX 75204.
- Employees must be within a commutable distance to the Dallas, TX office. Relocation is required for candidates not already local to the DFW area.
- Your role on the Products team will have the option to work remotely with at least 1 in-person engagement required weekly and additional days as needed based on project and team support needs.
- Training: You will have a ~4-week in-person training focusing on ISNetworld functionality / our PO-specific training virtually. During this time, certain days may be deemed ok for remote learning as directed by the Training Team and Management.
