Job Description
A new opportunity has arisen for an exceptional content lead or event portfolio manager to lead content production across a series of tech events.
The role will involve the end-to-end production of a global programme of tech events, managing relationships with relevant stakeholders and ambassadors, developing a comprehensive and strategic annual event programme, and, ultimately, contributing to and executing on our vision across the Founders Forum Group.
This fast-paced role will require ambition, strong analytical research skills, a strong commercial focus, the ability to build relationships with senior industry and government figures, the ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities and excellent internal and external stakeholder management.
Key areas of responsibility:
End-to-end production of a series of global longevity technology events, including:
- Leading market research and agenda development
- Conduct active networking with stakeholders and startups in the longevity space
- Setting the production schedule of each event and managing input from key content contributors
- Managing stakeholder and ambassador relations and hosting advisory board meetings
Leading content production for our Ecosystem Events, including:
- Designing engaging programmes for a range of events supporting the growth of the tech ecosystem
- Identifying and securing top speakers
- Testing new and creative content formats
Requirements
Experience and qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge and experience of the B2B event world
- Experience of successfully delivering large-scale, multi-track events in a fast-paced commercial organisation
- Extensive conference production experience: market research, agenda development, speaker acquisition, successful onsite delivery
- Extensive event project management experience
- Commercially astute with proven experience as a practical deliverer
- Demonstrable experience of the ability to forge positive relationships with multiple different internal and external stakeholders
Desirable
- Interest in health technology, longevity and the tech startup ecosystem
- Experience with typical sales and marketing tools (Salesforce & Hubspot)
Nice to have
- Experience with marketing tools such as WordPress and Swoogo
