Senior Process Improvement Specialist

Your role

The Senior Process Improvement Specialist will be a key member of the Center of Organizational Excellence team. The team will play a pivotal role in supporting the scaling of Fastned by driving the governance of the strategic planning cycles (short-medium-long term plans).

It will streamline and improve critical workflows and will act as a unifying force that drives cross functional collaboration and the standardisation of best practices for project management and process design across Fastned.

The Key responsibilities of our Senior Process Improvement Specialist are:

• Responsible for the governance models around process quality/root cause analysis & corrective/preventive actions, writing processes and standard operating procedures, as well as storing & modifying the aforementioned.
• Ensuring key enterprise processes and flows are performing smoothly. If a process is not achieving its performance targets, process engineers will help to troubleshoot any issues that are occurring.
• Working closely with personnel at all levels to become a subject matter expert in large cross functional processes.
• Generating and executing continuous improvement projects targeted to optimize cross functional processes.
• Creating process flow diagrams and other process visualisations to help all stakeholders better understand why and where scalable process optimisation makes sense.

In this function you will report directly to the Head of Centre Of Organizational Excellence. The role is located in our Amsterdam headquarters and will require up to 50% travel.

Who we are looking for

• 8-10 years experience driving process optimization in a fast growing environment, preferably spanning across different functional and international teams.
• Certification: black belt is a plus
• Solid influencing skills to facilitate change without formal reporting lines by influencing and inspiring teams.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for sustainability and the transition to electric mobility
• Fluency in English. Additional European language such as Dutch, German or French is a plus
