To lead and execute pricing strategies and revenue management practices across all Bayut & dubizzle products, ensuring alignment with market conditions and company goals. The role exists to drive profitability through effective pricing models and dynamic pricing solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the development and implementation of pricing strategies to maximize revenue across Bayut & dubizzle platforms.
- Oversee revenue management practices, ensuring they are aligned with business objectives and market trends.
- Design and manage dynamic pricing models that adjust based on market demand, competition, and external factors to optimize real-time pricing.
- Utilize advanced analytics tools to monitor market trends, competitor actions, and customer behavior, making data-driven decisions for pricing adjustments.
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure pricing strategies are consistent with company goals.
- Perform in-depth market research to understand competitive pricing landscapes and adjust strategies accordingly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in pricing, revenue optimization, or revenue management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Familiarity with pricing and revenue management tools
- Familiarity with high-volume, customer-facing platforms where pricing impacts customer behavior and company profitability.
- Experience in using advanced analytics, financial modeling, and forecasting tools to analyse large data sets, monitor market trends, and inform pricing decisions. Experience with data-driven decision-making is crucial.
- Experience in influencing and aligning pricing strategies with business objectives.
- In-depth knowledge of dynamic pricing models, market analysis, and revenue management tools.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and forecasting, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make informed decisions.
