Senior Pre-Sales Engineer

Exiger helps governments and companies surface and mitigate their supply chain, customer and third-party risk exposures which, undetected, present critical threats to the safety and well-being of their most valuable assets.

As a Pre-Sales Engineer you will help our customer’s solve their most challenging problems within their risk and compliance programs across third-party and supply chain risk management through your expertise and knowledge of Exiger’s full suite of software and technology enabled-services. Your work will focus on identifying and creating the right set of solutions from Exiger’s platform portfolio to meet the customer’s unique problem statement, and presenting and positioning the strength and benefits of that solution to the customer throughout the commercial process working with the Exiger Commercial sales team to drive opportunities through the sales process.

In your role, you will be on the front line regularly meeting with our customers, taking ownership of creating and performing tailored demonstrations of Exiger’s platform solutions aligned to each customer’s individual requirements. You will have deep rooted domain expertise across Exiger’s full software suite and be able to fully understand the challenges our customers face in their risk management programs and position the benefits our platform brings to their operations accordingly.

In your mission critical work, you will be responsible for extending our platform focused value proposition through the entire sales process from initial demos, through to running end-to-end proof of concepts and proof of value assessment exercises.

You will also interact with Exiger’s Product and Innovation teams to provide input based on customer and market feedback for consideration into our future platform product roadmap.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Exiger’s comprehensive software suite.
  • Design and deliver customized software demonstrations for customers.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop platform-based solutions addressing their specific challenges.
  • Partner with the sales team throughout the commercial process.
  • Oversee the successful completion of proof of concepts and value assessments.
  • Showcase the value of Exiger’s technology solutions, aligning with the customer’s top priorities.
  • Provide strategic product roadmap feedback to the Product and Innovation teams based on customer and market insights.
  • Contribute ideas for optimizing the go-to-market process.
  • Build and maintain relationships across the business to support Exiger’s mission.
  • Embrace a mindset of excellence through continuous improvement.
  • Learn about competitive products and effectively highlight Exiger’s advantages in presentations.
  • Excel in a dynamic, high-performance environment.

What You'll Need: 

  • 6+ years in a Sales and Solution Architect/Engineer role selling SaaS solutions
  • Experience with one or many of these: supply chain solutions (hardware, software, supplier, entity or corporate), SCRM or C-SCRM
  • Technical Skills: familiarity and/or understanding of cloud platforms, software and web programing languages, IOT ecosystems, NIST frameworks and network interchange protocols. Certifications are a plus
  • Experience with risk and cyber security frameworks
  • Demonstrable interpersonal skills, ability to write and speak clearly to accurately brief analytical findings
  • Strong organizational skills, including ability to prioritize and work under pressure
  • Ability to develop an understanding of domains relevant to Exiger’s capabilities 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in sales and technology field  
  • Negotiation and social problem-solving skills
