We’re on the lookout for a Senior Power Systems Hardware Design Engineer who will be responsible for designing and developing state-of-the-art hybrid power systems that incorporates diesel generator, solar systems and batteries in the range of 5 to 200KVA concerning defense applications. What You ‘ll Be Doing:

• Participate in the complete hardware development cycle from system design to documented release, prototype testing and evaluation.
• Handle integration, testing, verification and documentation.
• Adherence to Firmware-Hardware Specifications in collaboration with the Embedded Software Engineers to meet product requirements.
• Compose Technical Documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• Bachelor/University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Familiarity with power systems modelling & simulation (MATLAB, SIMULINK, P-SPICE).
• At least five (5) years of proven working experience in Hardware Design & Development.
• Proven experience in power systems design and complex systems integration testing & evaluation.
• Fluent use of English language.

Desired:

• Post-graduate Degree (MSc, PhD) on Hardware design and development will be considered an asset.
• Familiarity with high power battery systems & renewable technologies.
• Familiarity with microgrids, grid interconnection, autonomous systems.
• Knowledge of diesel engines & OBD communication protocols.
• Fulfilled military obligations.
