As a (Senior) Planning Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective planning and coordination of engineering projects. Your role will involve close collaboration with engineering teams, project managers, and external stakeholders to ensure that the designs and solutions meet the project’s technical requirements. You will contribute to optimizing project workflows, improving coordination between departments, and facilitating clear communication to achieve project goals within the defined timeline.
Job Description
- Design and implement formwork solutions for basic and complex project requirements considering standards, safety, timesaving and cost-efficiency
- Analyze structural drawings given by clients
- Produce material list, offer and shop drawings
- Conduct basic and advanced static calculations and structural analysis
- Technical in-charge for assigned projects with responsibility to coordinate drawing and document submissions, material deliveries and site support
- Assist Sales Engineers with site visits, meetings and client presentation
- Liaise with clients for technical issues and troubleshooting
- Coordination with other involved internal departments
- Technical/Civil Engineering Qualification
- Auto CAD and formwork knowledge (3D software, Revit and Inventor is an advantage)
- At least 5 years’ experience and expert knowledge in formwork engineering (and statics)
- Solid communication skills in English
- Team player with attention to detail and a feel for economic matters
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage a project and its internal and external stakeholders
- Thorough project management experience and knowledge
- Ability to make decisions, take responsibility, delegate and deliver presentations
- Eager to learn and improve knowledge and skills
- Shows adaptability, is open to change and able to manage it
- Thorough understanding of our business model and cross-functional collaboration
- Understanding of logistics and contract management
