Your mission during this flight:
As (Senior) Planner Logistics and Inventory (f/m/d), you will be responsible for driving forward a wide range of planning, optimization and preparation topics in the field of logistics and inventory management. Your area of responsibility covers the entire value chain within the supply chain, from procurement logistics to intralogistics and distribution to our worldwide end-customers.
With a holistic approach, you will design logistics areas, processes, material supply systems, as well as optimal optimized inventory concepts, and support our sites from conception to implementation and optimization of operations.
Your main tasks include:
- You are responsible for planning, implementation and controlling of logistics and inventory concepts, process designs and material flow planning for new and existing projects.
- You develop, adapte and optimize logistics processes in order to stabilize and secure processes as well as increase efficiency.
- You are responsible for conception of system requirements for logistics IT systems and coordination with involved departments.
- You ensure operational logistics in the production phase.
- You refine the packaging concepts to accommodate requirements from design organization, quality management, health & safety, production planning and wider logistics function.
- You will act as an internal contact for intralogistics solutions for our existing warehouses and new construction projects.
- You analyze and optimize our logistics inventory in collaboration with our production and procurement team.
- You develop and implement KPI and reporting systems within our inventory and logistics operations.
Check in your professional skills:
- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, logistics or a comparable qualification.
- Relevant experience of a least (7) 3 years in the field of logistics planning, inventory management or operations.
- Know-how in dealing with project management as well as lean management methods.
- Confident handling of MS Office, ERP and WMS systems.
- Very good knowledge of German and English language.
Preferred skills:
- Industry and logistics methods and process knowledge in automotive and aerospace is a plus.
- Consulting background with worldwide logistics planning projects in a global Supply Chain Setup.
- Confident handling of common planning tools.
