- Preparing general and detailed mechanical layout drawings.
- 3D modelling of process equipment based on 2D drawings.
- Importing vendor-supplied 3D equipment models in stp format into project model.
- 3D modelling of piping systems.
- Preparing mechanical details
- Preparing piping plans, orthographic and isometric drawings.
- Preparing piping support details.
- Reviewing vendor and other discipline drawings for conformity with project requirements.
- Working with project engineers in determining drawing requirements.
- Conducting field measurements and verification of existing systems.
- Graduation from an accredited technologist or technician course or equivalent combination of academic training and practical experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Strong experience with 3D design software PDMS and/or E3D.
Assets
- Knowledge of SmartPlant 3D and/or AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Knowledge of pipe support design
- Knowledge of piping layout conventions.
