As a Senior People Operations Generalist, you will support the HR department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. People Operations Generalists have administrative and strategic responsibilities such as advising employees from an HR administration and payroll perspective, creating employment documentation, inputting and auditing personal data, and monitoring compliance with internal working regulations and local labour law.
We are offering temporary contract for 2 years.
Accountabilities:
- Create employment documentation for new joiners and internal movers and ensure the legal requirements.
- Prepare required reports based on available tools and Microsoft Excel
- Administrate and audit the employees’ database, benefits, compensation and performance management
- Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees concerning salary, absence, working time, internal regulations, local policies
- Cooperate with external suppliers like Payroll or Benefits Providers and coordinate the payment process
- Draft and execute HR initiatives and procedures related to communication
- Suggest new procedures and policies to improve the People Team's efficiency and employee experience. Proactively ensure legal compliance with HR regulations and applicable employment laws, create/update policies and procedures as required, and keep an updated Intranet
- Participate and coordinate the projects that have for its purpose the implementation of the above improvements
- Be the primary backup for the payroll preparation process, including weekly/monthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, tracking vacation/sick pay, benefits validations and changes.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Master of Arts (Master’s degree preferred)
In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices; familiarity with labor regulations in multiple countries is a strong asset.
Experience:
- Working at a multi-function organisation
- Demonstrated experience managing the full employee lifecycle, from hire to retire, including payroll
- Working in an environment of change involving people, process and policy
- Experience developing and implementing HR policies and programs.
- Knowledge of labour law and regulations in Poland
- Knowledge of labor laws in Spain, the UK, and Ireland is a strong asset
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems and tools, including generating reports and analyzing data.
Skills:
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Knowledge on Workday, SharePoint, Smart Recruiters, PeopleSoft, PeopleOnline is a strong asset)
- Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments and manage time effectively
- Detail-oriented and resourceful mindset
- Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from hire to retire including payroll
- Effectively managing ambiguity and responding to evolving priorities
- Data Analysis: Including generating reports, interpreting HR metrics and analyzing data to inform decision-making and improve processes
- Providing guidance and support to other HR team members
- Leading or contributing to HR-related projects such as process improvements, system implementations
In addition, you will make an impact in this role by:
- Work within a multinational HR team on following and implementing our internal processes and projects
- Deliver ad hoc tasks related to HR Operations daily activities
- Observing daily work in People Team
- Participate in projects related to digititalization of HR administration
