Senior People & Culture Business Partner (12-months FTC)

As our Senior People & Culture Business Partner (12 Months Fixed Term Contract), reporting to the Vice President of P&C Business Partnering, you’ll act as a consultant to align business objectives with both management and employees. Your role will be vital in adding value to the business by delivering P&C support and coaching to management, ensuring effective strategy implementation and enhancing employee contributions.

You will develop department-level talent strategies that align with our overarching talent strategy, driving positive business outcomes. Additionally, you'll oversee the delivery of people and talent management processes, ensuring we have the capabilities needed to meet our annual metrics and goals. You will actively participate in departmental leadership teams, serving as a strategic partner on all people-related matters.

This role also involves collaboration with other P&C Business Partners, People Ops, Talent Acquisition Business Partners and Centres of Excellence to support operational needs that contribute to our divisional and organisational strategy. You’ll work closely with Go-to-Market, Geospatial Content Operations, Product, and Corporate teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leaders to implement effective talent management and development programs.
  • Assess organisational needs and create strategies to enhance team performance and capabilities.
  • Build strong relationships and provide coaching to managers across the company.
  • Navigate complex employee relations while ensuring compliance with Australian employment laws.
  • Communicate openly and offer creative solutions to workplace challenges.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience as a People & Culture Business Partner in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting.
  • Strong experience partnering with Go-To-Market/Sales teams 
  • Solid understanding of Australian employment legislation and experience with employee relations.
  • Strong relationship-building and coaching skills to engage with stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience in a technical or product-focused industry.
  • Skills in data analysis and using HR metrics to drive decisions.
  • Familiarity with change management and cultural transformation initiatives.
