[solidcore] is looking for a Senior People Business Partner to join our HQ team. Our ideal Sr. People Business Partner will play a crucial role in providing expertise and guidance in the areas of culture, change management, strategic planning, coaching, performance management, and succession planning. This person would be both strategic and influential with the ability to embody and scale our culture as we continue to grow.

This role will lead the People Business Partners (PBPs) that support the field employees and work cross-functionally with all People Teams to lead transformational change throughout the organization.

Located in vibrant Arlington, Virginia and reporting to the Director of People, this is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing, investor-backed organization with a desire to be the leader in the studio fitness space.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of People Business partners providing strategic support around development, succession planning, performance management, employee relations and organizational change management.
  • Work cross functionally with our Total Rewards Manager, Talent Acquisition managers, and Sr. People Manager on People Team goals and initiatives, driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.
  • Foster People Business Partner relationships that are built on the People team gaining in-depth knowledge of business objectives and providing strategic counsel and analytics in support of goal attainment.
  • Administer performance evaluation processes, ensuring fair and consistent reviews across the organization, and influence future processes in partnership with the learning and development team.
  • Partner with leaders to manage performance improvement plans and provide guidance on performance-related matters ensuring a fair and consistent application of company policies and compliance laws and regulations.
  • Check for and mitigate personal bias in examination of situations to minimize risk and promote an inclusive work environment.
  • Effectively provide feedback or coach leaders and provide guidance aligned to [solidcore] policies and procedures.
  • Partner with the learning and development team to Lead succession planning in partnership with leaders to anticipate future trends, their implications, and apply appropriate talent strategies to address gaps.
  • Partner with the Total Rewards Manager on maintaining equity and alignment on market analyses, regulatory responses, and critical policy changes to ensure competitive salary structures, benefits packages, and incentive plans.
  • Proactively identify and address critical organizational and people issues, and remove barriers impeding the success of the business.
  • Champion change, focused on creating and fostering a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment for all employees.
  • Hold leaders accountable for equitable selection, retention and development of their employees, including exit strategies.
  • Conduct and lead Fireside conversations with field and DEI leaders within the organization.
  • Conduct on-site studio visits across the nation with HQ and field leadership as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of proven Business Partner experience specifically in supporting 2,000+ employees
  • Willingness to travel to different markets as needed (approximately 15% of the time)
  • 1-3 years of people management experience
  • Solid understanding of employment law and policy administration
  • Degree in HR, Labor Relations or Business Management
  • Master's Degree preferred
