Project 44, a dynamic and rapidly growing company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Payroll Analyst to join our vibrant Finance Team in Kraków, Poland. 

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for international payroll? This exciting opportunity allows you to play a key role in ensuring our employees across the globe receive their compensation accurately and on time. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including People Operations and Sales, to maintain a smooth payroll process and contribute to the company's continued success. 

Here is what you will do: 

  • Coordinate and execute daily payroll operations with accuracy and efficiency 
  • Support the accounting team with payroll-related journal entries and insightful payroll analysis 
  • Collaborate closely with the People Operations & Payroll Manager to ensure proper handling of employee benefits within the payroll system 
  • Partner with Sales Operations to review and process sales commission payments accurately and timely 
  • Stay abreast of developments in the payroll system and proactively implement updates 
  • Provide support to global payroll initiatives and assist with global payroll provider management 
  • Maintain accurate and meticulous records of all payroll transactions
  • Assist with payroll-related audit requests and generate ad-hoc reports as needed
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll in a timely, empathetic, and professional manner
  • Coordinate effectively with multiple payroll providers across various countries 

We are looking for a candidate with: 

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field 
  • Minimum of 5+ years of demonstrably successful experience in payroll operations 
  • Knowledge of Benelux and German payroll operations is an additional asset 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a highly organized work style 
  • Ability to address employee payroll inquiries with empathy and professionalism 
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize competing workloads effectively 
  • Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to collaborate with the Payroll Manager on a global scale when necessary 
  • Experience with global payroll platforms like ADP, Safeguard, Ceridian, or BlueMarble is a plus
  • In-office Commitment: Employees are expected to contribute to our collaborative culture by working in the office three days weekly
