Lime’s Finance team is seeking a Senior Payroll Accountant to oversee the end-to-end payroll processes for assigned regions. In this role, you will report directly to the Global Payroll Manager and play a pivotal part in supporting Lime's rapid growth and development across multiple regions.

As a self-starter, you excel at working independently, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to navigate ambiguity. You are eager to take ownership of initiatives, from ideation through execution, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with organizational goals.
This position is based in our regional office in Penang and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, high-growth company.
What you'll do:
- Manage the payroll process, including processing payroll, verifying payroll data, and ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to payroll, including tax withholding, benefits, and payroll deductions
- Prepare payroll headcount reconciliation
- Manage journal entries, reconciliations, accruals and review variance analysis
- Receive stock options transactions details and prepare for tax reporting
- Work closely with HR and respective payroll service providers for employee queries
- Support payroll audits
About you:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting and/or Business Administration
- 3-6 years relevant experience with progressing scope and responsibilities and a demonstrated understanding of accounting and finance principles
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office and Google Suite of applications
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to remain focused and organized during periods of high demand
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and effective collaboration.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
