Location Details: Tempe, AZ

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a hybrid position. You’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office, so you should live within commuting distance. Hybrid teams may work in-office as much as a few times a week or as little as once a month or quarter, as decided by leadership. This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

The Payment Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in driving bottom-line impact by analyzing and summarizing transaction data from both internal systems and external payment providers. This position is responsible for advising on and coordinating payment acceptance projects, identifying opportunities for process and metric improvements, and assisting internal teams with payment processing inquiries. Additionally, the analyst will work to enhance the customer experience during the checkout process with GoDaddy, ensuring smooth and secure payment transactions.

What you'll get to do...

• Leading run the business aspects for associated partner relationships (including both internal and external partners) while advising others on best practices and recommending solutions
• Leads cross‐department efforts to optimize company payment processes/systems; driving improvements in metrics and outcomes
• Proactively monitor and analyze key payment metrics for assigned regions/functions using both established and ad-hoc queries/reports to identify actionable opportunities
• Initiate data projects and deep dives to identify, research, recommend, and document actionable optimizations focused on improving the payment‐related customer experience and metrics
• Join forces with engineering and payment providers to conduct full end-to-end testing; create and document test cases following established SOPs; find opportunities, create JIRAs, and work with teams to prioritize, resolve, and re‐test
• Coordinate projects, communicating business requirements, and measuring success while also delivering high-quality management-level reporting; suggest and lead internal projects showcasing a full understanding of GoDaddy's payment strategy along with a detailed breakout of the tasks within those projects
• Contribute to the development of the Global Payments and Risk organization; proactively finding opportunities to improve processes, documentation and facilitating training/shadowing

Your experience should include...

• 3+ years of data analysis, report creation, and financial modeling
• 1+ year project or program management of large-scale projects
• Ability to write intermediate SQL and demonstrate an intermediate skill level in Excel (create pivots, sorting data, lookups, formulas)
• Ability to visualize findings on GoDaddy transaction data and tell a story with it
• Ability to write requirements for our developers for payment system integrations based on technical specifications from vendors

You might also have...

• Tool experience: Tableau, Alation, Quicksight
• Detailed knowledge of card-not-present payments (eCommerce)
• Experience from a similar role at a major online merchant
• Understanding of Finance and Accounting systems
