The impact you’ll make:
As the Senior Parcel Operation Specialist (JF/SDM) , you will be responsible for the customer delivery experience, managing cost, build speed and reliability into our networks. You will be supported by the cross-functional teams, fulfillment, and final mile delivery partners.
What you’ll do
- Works closely with internal and external stakeholders as it relates to eCommerce logistics and shipping for all lines of businesses.
- Evaluates all logistical activities related to network design, distribution strategy; recommends and implements process improvements upon arrival.
- Develop and manage the financials as it pertains to operations periodic, annual and 3-year strategy.
- Manage special events and seasonal planning (Black Friday/Cyber Monday and Boxing Week) with fulfillment partners and carriers to ensure that the appropriate planning and execution is done to deliver a consistent customer experience.
- Own the communication between key stakeholders (Customer service, 3PL partner, Omni-channel stores network)
- Work closely with our delivery partners and fulfilment team to maintain SLAs, address issues, engage in root-cause analysis when exceptions occur, and drive continuous improvement
- Extract and provide data driven, actionable insights from various data sources to help guide customer experience, network strategy, operational execution, and continuous improvement
- Work with the various operations teams on data gathering and process change rollout
- Review KPIs daily to ensure the business targeted budget objectives are met
- Create, maintain and refine SOPs as they relate to the end-to-end delivery and shipping process
Does this sound like you?
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
- 2-4 years’ experience in the business, logistics or supply chain management.
- A curious problem solver who is comfortable with ambiguity and constantly evolving targets
- A balance between having a data-driven mindset guided by strong business acumen
- Creative thinker with a proved track record of developing innovative solutions
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships
- Ability to negotiate and influence with both internal and external stakeholders as required
- A willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Strong organization and time management skills, a self-starter, and the ability to work independently
- Creatively and constructively challenges the status quo
- Familiar with lean & agile principles
- Strong analytical skills and diagnostic work
- Superior skills in Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI
- Flexibility to be on call on occasional weekends
- Travel across GTA, Canada may be required
