WHAT YOU’LL DO

INNOVATE | You’re willing to learn, and you stay on the frontier of marketing strategy & technology.  In an ever-changing digital marketing landscape, you constantly adapt and evolve. As our Sr. PseB, you combine data analysis and feedback from clients to develop strategic plans. You make tactical recommendations for targeting, messaging and optimizing campaigns to meet KPIs. Sr. PseBs confidently tweak and optimize campaign types, keywords, copy, audiences, and buying tactics to create the best possible outcomes for their clients. You test constantly in order to determine the best performing mixture of campaigns. You never stop investigating account performance and constantly adapt strategy based on statistical outcomes in your accounts. When it’s time to pivot you are among the first early adopters. You share early insights, and encourage the team by helping to lead the way.

 

CREATE | You’re an outside the box thinker. Creative problems take creative solutions. You seek to find the hidden solution in the rough. Using data from previous campaigns to guide your decision-making, you write compelling direct-response advertising copy, building out campaigns in Google Ads, and ensuring all strategic initiatives are built and launched according to strict timelines and agreed-upon budgets across multiple ad accounts.

OWN | You’re accountable, responsible and determined. KPIs are your bread and butter and Google Sheets is your jam. You look to your goals as a foam wall to tear down, and you take great pride in giving it your all. We value the mantra of “Count on Me” meaning that you can see things through to the end!  As a Sr. PseB, you work closely with members of your growth team and other members of CTC to project a monthly account budget plan for each account in relation to account goals agreed upon by you and your team leader. You are a champion of communication, giving and receiving feedback in a timely manner, while making sure everybody on your team has clarity on campaign performance and testing results.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE 

Success in Your Day to Day Looks Like

  • Optimize ad accounts through building, iterating, and testing campaign types, ad copy, budgets, and bids in accounts to hit your spend and ROAS targets.
  • Forecast future budgets and performance through the analysis of historical data and industry trends. 
  • Communicate meaningful results to clients in weekly meetings, reports, and with teammates for a fresh perspective and new understanding of data.
  • Troubleshoot accounts to fix errors or warnings across Google Ads, Google Merchant Center
  • Help teach and coach junior buyers on the team. Share your knowledge to help uplift the entire team. Assisting with accounts of non Sr. media buyers to guide them through any helpful tips you might have. 



Success in Your First Three to Six Months Looks Like

Ownership of Ad Accounts

    • Actively running up to 10 clients without regular assistance from other buyers.

Accurate Reporting And Projecting Spend/Revenue

    • You’ve learned the ropes and you should be able to accurately project a client’s Google Ads spend/ROAS.

Assisting Wherever Possible. 

    • As a Sr. Paid Search Buyer you’re expected to share your knowledge with any who need it, Assisting accounts and starting palms down to help wherever you can. 



WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Significant experience creating and optimizing multiple Google Ads account at scale (this is the #1 requirement for this job, and if you haven't done this, this isn't the position for you). 
  • Confident interpersonal communicator and relationship builder, including the ability to hold people accountable and conduct difficult conversations.
  • Expert knowledge of the following: Shopify, Google Merchant Center, Google Analytics, and Copywriting.
  • Experience building, connecting, optimizing and troubleshooting data feeds in Google Merchant Center.
  • Experience integrating Product Rating from various product rating aggregators into Google Merchant Center
  • Excel expertise and a strong ability to analyze data, make actionable decisions and recommendations.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads Desktop Editor.
  • An ability to think about a brand’s 360º digital approach from customer acquisition through to customer retention.
  • An insatiable curiosity, and an inability to leave a problem alone until you’ve found one or many different potential solutions.
  • A desire to take calculated risks after carefully examining the calculus and determining that your chosen course of action is the most effective approach.
  • Must have a unique combination of humility (willing to do the dirty work) and ambition (vision for what your future holds).
  • Skilled in ASANA or relevant project management software, preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to complete short-term and long-term goals in a proper manner. 
  • Ability to adapt to new processes, strategies, and goals.

 

WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?

 

SALARY RANGE

  • $70,000 - $78,000 base salary, annually
  • Bonus Structure | 10% of base salary
