Senior Paid Media Manager (Programmatic, Search and Social experience)

Reporting to our VP Paid Media, the Senior Paid Media Manager will work with our appointed digital partner and take full accountability of the overall performance of paid media campaigns. These responsibilities are further broken down below:

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Basic to advanced implementation of campaigns on various paid media platforms, including DV360, CM360, Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and others, in addition to performing or assisting in validation/audits on campaigns of the same team.
  • Measurement expertise on their platforms to identify poor implementations as well as areas of opportunity to improve campaign results.
  • Help develop sophisticated Paid Media strategies, including Programmatic, PPC, and Paid Social, which accurately address the goals of the client and will help us to achieve their goals and KPIs.
  • Ensuring that audits and research are properly utilized to deliver insight-driven/data-driven strategies.
  • Working closely with internal & Client Service teams to assist in the smooth implementation of work.
  • Attending and leading key campaign meetings (internal & client-facing) to represent the paid media team and provide support and actionable next steps when relevant.
  • Day-to-day management of digital media paid campaigns, focusing on revenue and profit growth and managing within budget goals.
  • Work in collaboration with other media channels. Build out logical and audience-focused media plans.
  • Optimize and execute on agreed methodologies against paid media plans, utilizing native platforms, third-party, and internal tools, as required to deliver efficient and profitable paid media campaigns.
  • Lead the campaign strategy, researching potential marketing channels, analyzing competitors, and adopting a robust test & learn approach.
  • Critically analyze the performance of campaigns, identifying strategic opportunities, facilitating change to hit and exceed the goals and KPIs set by the company.
  • Project managing all activity and processes required to proficiently run and create campaigns. Produce reports and studies that clearly articulate the rationale for optimization methodologies throughout campaigns.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the marketplace and social landscape to ensure delivery of best-in-class campaigns.
  • Demonstrate measurable success through the achievement of set KPIs. e.g., account turnover and profitability, campaign management, report generation, analysis, and, above all, strategic insights.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationships with wider account teams, advertising partners, and colleagues.

Best Practice Accountability

  • Collaborate with the appointed digital partner to ensure processes, frameworks, and KPIs relating to paid media are up to date observing the growing use of Programmatic, PPC, and Paid Social.
  • Pro-actively work in partnership with directors and heads of other departments and divisions to ensure adherence to best practice in all areas.
  • Pro-actively work with the data, planning, and other media teams to understand how paid media integrates with other media formats and channels.
  • Work with data suppliers and other 3rd party data experts to contribute to effective data visualization and presentation.
  • Interrogate and identify opportunities to build better paid media plans and processes, working in collaboration with appointed digital partners to agree on the best approach.
  • Ensure all work is QA'd and to the highest standards.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience managing paid media accounts
  • Certifications within Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Apps, Display, Video)
  • Knowledge of DV360, CM360, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, and other major paid media platforms
  • Desirable: SA360, Apps (ACE & ACI), Appsflyer, PMax & GA4 knowledge
