About the role

The Senior Manager, Operations is the leader of the Verification Center and a key member of the leadership team responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operation including but not limited to: order fulfillment, labor management, quality assurance, inventory accuracy, and materials procurement. The Senior Manager, Operations will work cross-functionally with the business teams as they develop short- and long-term growth strategies.

What you'll do

  • Establish and maintain a safe and secure work environment, working with Environmental, Health, and Safety team as necessary
  • Establish team member responsibilities to meet the daily business demands and productivity targets 
  • Leading and developing a team.
  • Ensure accurate and on-time fulfillment and shipment of all customer orders.
  • Supervise and train the operations team to optimize quality and productivity for a high growth environment.
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor, train, and develop teammates for career progression, performance improvement, and recognition purposes.
  • Manage operations supply procurement and associated inventory levels.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Provide reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly key performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through proper inventory management and cycle count procedures.

About you

  • More than 7 years of supply chain management, operations or a related field; minimum 5 years of leadership experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field - preferred
  • Proven management experience running high volume pick and pack warehouse, manufacturing, production or distribution environment
  • The ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  •  Demonstrated experience with
    • effectively delegating and managing time.

    • setting and communicating clear expectations and measuring performance results.
    • continuous improvement methodology
    •  holding people accountable for achieving goals within expected timelines.
  • Support recruitment efforts and develop talent 
  • Project Management Skills – ability to follow project plans and meet key milestones on time, handling multiple projects at one time
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude are a must 
  • Sense of urgency to perform tasks to timelines 
  • Strong attention to detail 
Working Conditions
  • The Verification Center is a warehouse environment with working conditions found in a typical warehouse setting. Closed toed and closed heel shoes are required. Team members in this environment will be required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, turn, and pivot more than 75% of the time.
  • May push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds (or 23kg); on occasion a team-lift of up to 100 pounds (or 45kg) and may be required to bend, twist, kneel and squat regularly.
  • This role may require you to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, and the like on a frequent basis depending on site location.

Pursuant to the various pay transparency laws/acts, the base salary range is $80,000 to $120,000 plus opportunities for benefits (e.g., medical, dental), equity and discretionary bonuses. Compensation is dependent on geography and may vary.
