About the role
The Sr. Operations Manager will report to the VP of Operations, North America, and be responsible for supporting daily inter-workings of Crypto.com’s banking partnerships with focus on the Canadian region, in addition to supporting Exchange projects as needed.
This is a highly collaborative role working at the intersection of different cross functional teams widespread globally. This is a hands-on role, therefore you must be a self-starter, with the ability to traffic high volume tasks internally and externally with our vendors until final resolution. Must be solution oriented and exhibit an attention to operational efficiencies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate various tasks relative to our card and fiat operations;
- Assist the team in troubleshooting operational issues and work towards solutions;
- Manage the onboarding of new partners/vendors;
- Maintain a knowledge base of operational processes and procedures;
- Lead process improvement projects;
- Manage the internal review process with the business operations teams when launching new product features, participating in quality assurance testing;
- Manage the external process with bank partners when launching new product features, seeking approvals;
- Oversee the performance of newly released product features, and make recommendations for improvement;
- Is the day-to-day POC for our banking partners, keeping track of incoming requests, & routing them to the correct teams and following through until completion;
- Manage onboarding efforts for global acquirers as needed;
- Open to assisting in ad hoc tasks as assigned;
Job Requirements:
- 7+ years of project management, operations, business analysis, customer support. Experience with banking, payment companies and/or start ups/fintech is a plus;
- Card or payment specific experience preferred;
- Self-starter, hands on and able to work with minimal supervision;
- Experience working in a fast- pace environment, setting your own demanding expectations;
- Ability learn and adapt quickly in a fast-moving startup environment;
- Be able to determine priorities and follow up in a timely fashion;
- Be able to work collaboratively and constructively in a team environment;
- Highly organized and excellent presentation to represent self and crypto.com;
- Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner;
- Experience with platforms and collaboration tools - such as slack, in addition to JIRA and Confluence;
- Some traveling is expected (domestically and internationally).
