At CoreWeave we are building the next generation public cloud for accelerated workloads. Our stack consists of tens of thousands of bare metal servers with over 100K GPUs distributed across 7 data-centers, and growing rapidly! On the compute stack, we lay down Kubernetes on bare metal resulting in world class performance for the most cutting edge workloads, including ML Training, Real Time Inference and CGI. 

Our Network teams have a maniacal focus on delivering world class network infrastructure by way of top notch automation on top of modern architectural and design concepts.   Our goal is to build the most resilient, high performance network fabrics possible to accelerate our unique, and bleeding edge AI, ML, and VFX workloads for our customers, but also have fun doing it! 

Key Responsibilities:

CoreWeave is looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. This role will be responsible for architecting and managing both our internal and external network footprints, including routing, peering, traffic management and security.

7+ years of experience in the following areas:

  • A great attitude, without an ego, and a willingness to help those more junior, and learn from those more senior.
  • Networking OS Experience - Cumulus Linux, Arista, Juniper, Nokia
  • Bonus points for past exposure to Hyperscale Clos fabrics
  • Expertise with major routing protocols - BGP, ISIS, OSPF, MPLS
  • Experience with encapsulation protocols - EVPN w/VXLAN
  • Automating deployments using Ansible or similar
  • Experience automating configuration generation Ansible, Jinja, SaltStack or Python
  • Operational experience with Git 
  • Run point on large infrastructure projects
  • Familiar with circuit commissioning and troubleshooting
  • Large Scale network design, maintenance, and operations
  • Ability to work on complex projects or tasks both individually and as part of a team
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP
  • Linux experience

Nice-to-haves:

  • Direct Netbox or Nautobot experience
  • Direct or Indirect experience working with Service Provider networks
  • Experience with Kubernetes and CNIs (Calico, Cilium)

The base pay for this position ranges from $175,000/year up to $210,000/year. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
